Description







JOB SUMMARY:



Design, manage, and maintain a complex infrastructure consisting of Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateway, SIP, PRI’s, and dial plans. Troubleshoots all aspects of the Cisco Voice and Data network.



 



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:




  1. Design, configure and troubleshoot QoS classification, marking and prioritization of network traffic (voice, critical applications, etc.).

  2. Configure route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and partitions.

  3. Troubleshoot and configure Cisco Unity Connection features, subscribers, call handlers and call routing rules.

  4. Troubleshoot and configure Cisco routing and switching rules.

  5. Assist in supporting IPSec MPLS VPN infrastructure

  6. Assist in supporting BGP routing protocols

  7. Maintains all telecommunication system backups. Ensures the integrity of the backup and periodically validates backup process

  8. Promptly evaluates and applies patches to correct known security vulnerabilities

  9. Maintains voice infrastructure documentation

  10. Provides security risk analysis of the hospital voice infrastructure

  11. Monitors network and server logs and takes appropriate action as necessary

  12. Provides backup support for all technical staff

  13. Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the department through skills transfer, continued professional growth and self-education of new technologies.

  14. Manages projects as assigned by the Technology Manager.

  15. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:



 



CCNP Voice OR CCNP with hands-on voice experience required.



 



3 to 5 years of experience in operating and maintaining VoIP technologies. Extensive understanding of Cisco Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateway, SIP, PRI’s, dialing plans, Jabber, WebEx. Demonstrable experience of advanced troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems for routing, switching, security and voice implementations.
