Job Description


The Village of St Jacob is now accepting applications for a Leadership role within the Public Works Department.  This role includes all aspects of the Village. Including, water distribution, sanitary sewer, street maintenance and public grounds.  The preferred applicant has great experience in Leadership, all levels of Communication, time management and generating checklists for day-to-day/future projects.  It is not required, but an advantage if a water license, wastewater license, CDL or mosquito license is obtained already.  If the applicant does not have any of these licenses stated above, then the willingness to obtain in the future is requested.  Applicants must have a positive attitude and the willingness to learn from others. 
This is a full-time position with Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance.  IMRF pension, paid holidays, vacation and paid time off.  St Jacob is a small community but has competitive wages.  Pre-employment drug screening required. 
Applications can be picked up from Village Hall or printed from the Village website.  All applications are accepted at Village Hall by Tuesday May 20, 2025, by 3:00pm
